Difference between ISO 9001 and ECE R-90 Approval

When a distributor approves a brake supplier, two distinct concepts often get mixed up. They are two separate, complementary guarantees: one audits our business processes and the other certifies the part fitted to the vehicle.

Covers our management system: vendor selection and origin evaluation, goods-in technical inspection, batch traceability, issue management, and continuous improvement. LRQA audits us regularly since 2001; this is not a one-off certificate you just hold onto.
